What we own

The following are the property of 108 ToolBox and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and by international copyright law:

The name 108 ToolBox and the 108 logo.
The design of the site — the layout, the colours, the styling and the overall look and feel.
All written content, including the guides and the questions and answers on every tool page.
The source code of each tool, and the code that runs the site.

What you own

Everything you create using the tools belongs to you. We claim no right of any kind over it.

This is easy for us to promise, because we never receive it. The tools run inside your own browser, so your text and your files stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

What you may do

Use any tool on this site, free of charge, for personal work or for business work.
Use the results commercially. No credit to us is required.
Link to any page on this site from anywhere.
Quote a short passage from our writing, as long as you credit 108 ToolBox and link back to the page it came from.

What you may not do without our written permission

Copy, republish or mirror the pages, the design or the code of this site, in whole or in part.
Sell or redistribute any part of this site.
Present our work as your own, or remove any copyright notice.
Copy our content into another website, an app, a book or an AI training dataset.
Scrape the site in bulk, or use automated software that puts an unreasonable load on it.

Open-source code

Where a tool uses third-party open-source software, that software stays under its own licence and belongs to the people who wrote it. Our notice here applies only to our own work.
