Short version: these tools are free and useful, but they are not perfect. Check anything important before you rely on it.
1. General purpose only
Everything on 108 ToolBox is provided for general information and general use. The tools are meant to save you a few minutes on an everyday task. They are not built for legal, medical, financial, tax or any other situation where a wrong answer has serious consequences.
2. Provided “as is”
The website and every tool on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranty of any kind, whether stated or implied. We do not promise that the site will always be available, that it will be free of errors, or that it will suit your particular purpose.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
We try hard to make each tool correct, and we test them before they go live. Even so, we do not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete or up to date. Software has bugs. Browsers behave differently from one another. Numbers get rounded.
4. Please check the results yourself
You are responsible for checking any result before you act on it. This matters most with the calculators. An EMI figure from this site is an estimate to help you think, not a quotation. Your bank decides your real instalment, and their number is the one that counts.
The same is true everywhere else on the site. Before you send the output somewhere it matters, read it.
5. Not professional advice
Nothing on this website is professional advice, and using it creates no professional relationship of any kind between you and us. In particular:
- The calculators are not financial, investment, lending or tax advice. Speak to a qualified adviser.
- Any health-related calculator is not medical advice and is no substitute for a doctor.
- Nothing here is legal advice. Speak to a lawyer.
6. Your files and your data
The tools run inside your browser, so your files stay on your device. That is good for your privacy, and it also means the safety of your data is in your hands, not ours.
Keep your original file. Work on a copy. A browser tab can crash, a phone can run out of memory, and a tab that closes takes everything in it with it. We cannot recover anything for you, because we never had it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 108 ToolBox and anyone associated with it will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of your use of this website, including:
- loss of, or damage to, your data or files;
- a decision you made based on a result from a tool;
- loss of profit, business, contracts or goodwill;
- any error, interruption, delay or failure of the site;
- any virus or harmful component, however it reached you.
You use this website at your own risk.
8. External links
This site may link to other websites. Those sites are not under our control. We do not review them, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, their advertising or their privacy practices.
A link is only a pointer, never a recommendation. Once you leave 108 ToolBox, the terms and the privacy policy of that other site apply to you, not ours.
9. Advertising
There are no advertisements on this site today. If advertising is added in the future, the advertisements will be supplied by a third party and we will not control, check or endorse what they promote. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.
10. Changes
The site is added to and changed regularly. Tools may be improved, altered or withdrawn at any time, without notice. This disclaimer may also be updated, and the date below will change when it is.
11. Contact
If a tool gives you a result that looks wrong, please tell us at hello@108toolbox.in. A clear bug report is genuinely welcome and it gets fixed.
