Monday to Friday of the same week is five working days here, not four. That is what people mean when they ask, and it is the commonest disagreement between two tools that both look right.
Your weekend is not everybody's weekend
Saturday and Sunday are ticked because that is the most common arrangement, not because it is the only one. Much of the Middle East works Sunday to Thursday and takes Friday and Saturday. Plenty of shops close on a Monday instead. Some people work a four-day week, and a great many in India work a half-day Saturday that a tool like this cannot represent at all.
So the days are yours to choose. Untick them all and you are counting every calendar day minus the holidays, which is also a legitimate question.
Holidays have to come from you
There is no list this page could ship that would be right. India alone has national holidays, different state holidays, holidays that move with the moon, and a list every company edits for itself. Guessing would be worse than asking, because a wrong holiday list is invisible — the number simply comes out slightly wrong and looks perfectly reasonable.

that lands on your weekend is not counted twice, which is the other
thing tools quietly get wrong: the day was already not a working
day.
What the numbers below are for
Working weeks is the count divided by five, which is how people talk about project time. The hours figure assumes an eight-hour day and is there for invoicing and estimating — it is arithmetic, not advice, and your own day may well be seven and a half.

Does the end date count?
Yes. Monday to Friday is five working days, not four. If you want the days between two dates without counting the last one, take one off the answer.
Why do I have to type the holidays myself?
Because no built-in list would be right for you. Public holidays differ by country, by state, by religion and by employer, and several move each year. A wrong list gives you a wrong answer that looks completely plausible.
What if a holiday falls on a Sunday?
It is counted once. The day was already not a working day, so removing it again would undercount. The 'holidays used' tile shows how many of the dates you gave actually made a difference.
Can I count a Friday-Saturday weekend?
Yes - untick Saturday and Sunday and tick Friday and Saturday. Any combination works, including none at all if you want every calendar day counted.
Is a half-day Saturday supported?
No, and pretending otherwise would be worse. A day here is either a working day or not. If you work alternate Saturdays, count with Saturday as a working day and subtract the ones you have off as 'holidays'.
